What is covered

For 2 years from the date of delivery we will repair or replace, at our option and at our cost, any part of the projector that fails through a defect in materials or workmanship. That covers the LED light engine, the LCD panel, the lens and focus mechanism, the cooling fan, the input terminals and electronics, the housing, and the supplied remote control.

The light source

The V811’s LED light source is rated for 30,000 hours. Like every light source it dims gradually with use; that gradual, normal dimming is not a defect. A light source that fails, flickers or loses brightness abnormally within the warranty period is covered.

Who is covered

The warranty covers the original purchaser and is not transferable. Keep your order confirmation — it is the proof of purchase.

What is not covered

Normal cosmetic wear, including marks on the housing.

Damage from misuse, accident, dropping, liquid, rain or dew, insects or pests, blocked ventilation, or operation on a mains supply other than the one the projector is rated for.

Scratches or damage to the lens caused by cleaning with anything other than a soft lens cloth.

Damage caused by modification, or by repair attempted by anyone other than us or a service centre we appoint.

Damage in transit, which is handled as an insurance claim rather than a warranty claim — report it within 48 hours of delivery.

How to make a claim

Email contact@virelliprojectors.com with your order number, a description of the fault and, where it helps, a photograph or a short video of the picture. We reply within one business day with the next step.

Many issues are solved remotely — a setting, a source, a cable. Where the projector has to come back, we arrange and pay for the collection within the contiguous United States and return the repaired or replacement unit at our cost.

After a repair or replacement

A repaired or replaced projector or part is covered for the remainder of the original warranty period, or for ninety days from the repair, whichever is longer.

Your statutory rights

This warranty is given in addition to your rights under consumer law, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and applicable state law in the United States, and does not limit them. Some jurisdictions do not allow limits on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the limits above may not apply to you.
